What Is PSIRA?
PSIRA stands for the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority — the organization that regulates and oversees all security service providers in South Africa.
Their goal is to ensure that:
Security officers are properly trained and certified.

Every officer, from an entry-level guard to a manager, must hold a valid PSIRA registration.
🟩 Grade E – Entry-Level Security Officer
This is the starting point for anyone new to the security industry.
Purpose:
To train candidates in basic security procedures and professional behavior.
